Did you know people use crystals everyday? When we think of crystals we usually think of some crunchy, godless, new age masseuse charging up their collection by the light of the full moon. Now, before we dig into some things please know…I have never used crystals as a means to heal myself or anyone else. I do not own any crystals by themselves although they are found in many homes unaware including mine. I’m not terribly familiar with the use of crystals as a means to heal the body so I’m not going to go into those details. I just wanted to shed light on the everyday use of crystals we may have been unaware of, to hopefully give us more insight to their properties and unlock our minds to learn something new and interesting.
Did you know that back in the day the ultra conservative Christians found new innovations like the radio to be a form of witchcraft?

Do you know why? Not just because it was “new and scary” let’s give them a little more credit then that. It was because they asked serious questions. They asked how a radio worked. How did a radio station bring all the sounds right into their homes through this box? Seems pretty magical! Maybe it is. A radio uses a crystal. Typically a quartz which acts as a frequency stabilizer. The crystal helps the frequency generate a stable electric signal at a specific frequency and sends it invisibly through the air into our little radio squeakers. Interesting, right? The crystal is crucial for an accurate radio transmission and reception. So, essentially this crystal vibrates and the electric current is applied and voila! Radio signal. Also…ever wonder how a remote control works?

Fascinating stuff. A crystal. That little glass “looking” ball on the front end of your remote control is a crystal that again generates a stable and precise frequency when pointed to the tv that then carries a wave for the infrared signal that the remote transmits. The consistent frequency generated by this crystal when aimed at the tv connects to another crystal target and magically codes signals for each button. Weird stuff we never think about. A remote crystal oscillates (swings back and forth-or bounces back and forth) at a frequency around 38kHz. Now that we have scratched the surface of how the everyday Joe Smo uses crystals how does a pagan use crystals?

A pagan would use crystals as tools to focus and amplify energy during a ritual of some kind because they believe the crystals possess unique vibrational properties. Now, why would a pagan think they can do this? I mean…crystals vibrating is the very thing that makes a radio or remote control work. So, would they be right in assuming a crystal could do something to their body just as it does something to magically turn the volume up to a tv? I’m unsure what it would do to a human body, but I do not doubt it would do “something.” Pagans put crystals on an alters, different crystals are connected to different deities, and obviously trusted in to call on gods for healing and manifesting. Now, can these ever be used separated from that? I’m unsure. Some would argue that just because they can “work” doesn’t mean we should partake or use them…but I would say the say thing about all pharmaceutical products, but they are not ready for that conversation. Now, I’m not saying your “remote control crystal” is laid at the alter of the television as a means of worship but we do use crystals for things we may not have been aware of. I just have questions. Would it be safe to say that if someone wanted to use crystals for their healing properties void of assigning the crystal to a deity, could they? What would the biblical argument be?
“No! You’re not allowed to heal yourself with what YAH placed on this earth!”
“You can only use crystals manipulated by man to harness frequencies to watch television and listen to the radio!”
“Don’t you dare hold a crystal not found in a remote control and believe it can calm your nervous system! How ludicrous!”
“Crystals are only to be use to emit frequencies for entertainment purposes ONLY.”
Let’s reason together. I do not have any interest in “using” crystals. So, put away your pitch forks. But we must be careful to not to come to hypocritical conclusions. I’m just here to call out a double standard and provoke thought for those of us whose pineal gland is slowly decalcifying.
In conclusion, before you demonize a fellow sister for using crystals, ask more questions. If believers and witches can use herbs for different purposes, could it be possible for witches and believers to use crystals for different purposes? Or “energy” in general? The believer may unlock its intended purpose. Who knows. We do see crystals used on the breastplate of the priests, right?

What if those crystals weren’t just a fun fashion choice? What if in YAH’s unfathomable wisdom had them wear this as a means to energize, protect, and emit a great frequency?! Who knows. What I do know is that the Ruach seems to keep impressing the subject upon my heart. Sifting through what is truly an occult practice and what is a gift from the Father. He does give good gifts to His children and we must be wise in discerning what devil comes to counterfeit, destroy, pervert and keep us in the dark about. I want to differentiate between what is good knowledge and what is “knowledge” of no benefit. We want the knowledge that keeps us from destruction. As His Set Apart people, let’s not be wooed away to follow after other gods! Discernment will be knowing the difference between what is woo woo…and what is here for our benefit! We can explore what energy and frequencies can do for our bodies and minds without being gaslit into thinking we must stay away because it must all fall under an occult umbrella and has no other purpose other then witchcraft. The occult has no ownership over YAH’s creation, they may misuse it and misplace their worship. But that doesn’t mean it never had any other purpose except to be perverted and twisted by men. YAH has a purpose for it or it wouldn’t be here. It must be steward correctly.
